Climate change in Canada: Evacuation cause by Canada's wildfires
There are 14 fires in all in Nova Scotia, the largest of which, which covers 43,095 acres, is the province's "largest wildfire in recorded history," according to the provincial administration government. 200 houses have been burned, 16,000 people have been ordered to evacuate, and the fires are now in danger of spreading to Halifax.
